Bill Deacon is going into his 11th season with the New York Mets as Director of Landscaping and Field Operations. Bill will present how to effectively manage a natural grass sports field, and how this can be done on a limited budget. He will also discuss the pros and cons of natural turf selection.
Claudia West is the ecological sales manager at North Creek Nurseries, working with the development of stable, layered planting designs and the desire to bring American native plants back into our landscape. In her presentation, Claudia will focus on Designing Stunning Plantings that Stand the Test of Time.
Adam Moeller is the new Director of Green Section Education for the United States Golf Association. Adam will discuss how to Irrigate for Turf Health and Playability; Not Color. He will outline the key strategies to reducing water use on the golf course including grass selection, soil management and irrigation technology.
Bruce Jump, WinField’s Strategic Partner Lead and Insight Tool Inventor, draws on more than 30 years of experience with Land O’Lakes to help businesses make smart seed buying decisions. Bruce’s presentation will introduce a product he is responsible for developing and inventing, the first patented and searchable turfgrass database, the Turf Tech Tool.
Laurie Broccolo, CEO of Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care, will show you how to expand business opportunities and save money with environmental landscape design and maintenance.
