Recertification Credits
NYSDEC pesticide recertification credits, STMA continuing education units and CNLP credits - each session lists the categories and credits/units available for attendees. Pesticide recertification credits are available from PA and VT. Continuing education units and education points are available from GCSAA, ISA and PGMS.


NYSDEC Credit Procedures

To qualify for NYSDEC credits, please obtain a NYSDEC credit certificate at the registration desk or NYSDEC booth. Present your certification license and sign the roster as you enter each session. Your credit certificate will be stamped at the end of each session. It is your responsibility to be present during the entire session to receive full credit.

Certified pesticide applicators must be recertified in each category or subcategory every three years. Continuing education credits must consist of at least 25% category-specific training for each category of certification.


GCSAA Education Points

The program has been approved for the following education points: Wednesday, November 16 - .50 and Thursday, November 17- .60.

Vermont Pesticide Recertification Training Credits

The program has been approved for recertification training credits. The following credits are available: 3B - Turf = 11; and 10 - Demonstration, Research, and Sales = 11.

Pennsylvania Pesticide Recertification Training Credits

The program has been approved for recertification training credits. The following credits are available: 00 - Core = 3; 06 - Ornamental and Shade Trees = 10; 07 - Lawn and Turf = 10; 11 - Household/Heath Related = 1; 16 - Public Health - Invertebrate Pest = 1; 18 - Demonstration and Research = 10; and 23 - Park/School Pest Control = 10.

PGMs CEUs
The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) has awarded 1.5 CEUs towards a CGM or CGT reaccreditation per day, for a total of 3 CEUs if both days are attended.

Turf Bowl

This is a competition to test students’ turfgrass knowledge. The Turf Bowl will take place on Thursday at 10:00 am. Pre-register individuals and teams with Tim Hahn at (315) 524-3639 or tim.hahn@greystonelinks.com by Friday, October 3, 2016.
