HELP WANTED AT CEMETERY IN ROCHESTER, NY

White Haven Memorial Park is looking for someone with a turf management background to supervise its summer mowing crew and bring a critical eye to trimming and mulching of all lawn areas, grave markers and flower gardens.  This year-round position as Assistant to the Park Superintendent will also include composting, IPM, snow and leaf removal, irrigation, equipment and building maintenance. 

Since White Haven is a cemetery first and a Park second, you will also need to help out with burials when needed.  As long as you have skills in some of the areas of responsibility and a willingness to learn the others, training will be provided.  You must be prepared to work outdoors up to eight hours a day year round.

Regular working hours are M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM and every other Sat. 8:00AM-Noon.  The first 40 hours are at $15/hour and overtime is at $22.50/hour (time and a half).  After a 90 day probationary period, benefits include single health insurance policy approx. 70% paid by the company and fully paid dental policy, as well as generous paid leave time and holidays and a 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% of pay.
