WELCOME
…to the New York State Turfgrass Association web site for people interested in the turfgrass industry. Here you will find a wealth of information on membership procedures, upcoming events, donation and sponsorship opportunities, job postings, and scholarships.
The mission of the New York State Turfgrass Association is to unify, lead and promote professionalism among people interested in the turfgrass and grounds industry. We will accomplish this through education and research, while advocating environmentally-responsible management.
Consider becoming a member of the New York State Turfgrass Association. Every member is vital because as a united turfgrass industry there is no limit to what we can achieve. The New York State Turfgrass Association is your association working for your interests! Take a look at what a NYSTA membership has to offer:
NYSTA provides leadership in turfgrass research and education by offering accredited education seminars, conferences, scholarships and grants for research.
NYSTA impacts regulatory and legislative issues by hosting the annual Turfgrass Advocacy Day, tracking bills and laws affecting the green industry, and working closely with the New York Alliance for Environmental Concerns.
NYSTA distributes the latest research information through Cornell University Turfgrass Times (CUTT) which is mailed to members; ShortCUTT, which is emailed to members; TracTurf Software and Branching Out, which is emailed to members.
NYSTA gives you the opportunity to network with green industry professionals who have joined together to share best management practices, promote environmental stewardship, support education, advance research and disseminate research findings.
We appreciate your support of the New York State Turfgrass Association.
NYSTA Members - ShortCUTT e-zine will begin April 7th.
